Which Samsung Galaxy phones support eSIM in the US?

Here’s the honest answer up front: with Samsung, “does my phone support eSIM” depends less on the model than on where you bought it. Samsung’s own support page says carrier-branded devices don’t support eSIM features — so an S24 bought unlocked from Samsung installs a travel eSIM fine, while the identical S24 from a carrier store may refuse it.
So before anything else: was your Galaxy bought unlocked, or through AT&T, Verizon or T-Mobile?
If it’s unlocked
Flagships from the S20 generation on generally support eSIM — S20 through S26 families, Z Fold and Z Flip lines. The FE models are mixed: S20 FE and S21 FE are physical-SIM only; S24 FE and S25 FE list dual SIM via eSIM. The rugged XCover6 Pro and XCover7 Pro both support it.
The A series is where trips get ruined
Most “my eSIM didn’t work” stories we’ve seen involve an A-series phone, and usually it was never going to work: the A13, A14 5G, A15 5G, A23 5G, A51, A52 5G and the US A53 5G have no eSIM hardware at all. The A16 5G, A17 5G, A25 5G, A26 5G, A35 5G, A36 5G, A54 5G and A56 5G are listed as eSIM-capable on unlocked units and carrier-dependent otherwise. Two checks that settle it
Open Settings → Connections → SIM manager. If you see “Add eSIM”, your phone can do it. And if the phone came from a carrier, ask them whether eSIM is enabled on your unit — this week, not at the gate.
