As of our last check, T-Mobile’s plan page lists 15 GB of high-speed data in 215+ countries and destinations on Experience Beyond, then unlimited at up to 256 kbps after that. Experience More gets 5 GB before the same slowdown. Canada and Mexico are included on T-Mobile plans with up to 30 GB of high-speed roaming. For a ten-day trip to Italy on Experience Beyond, 15 GB is more than most people use. Go, enjoy, you’re covered.
Where the math flips
Three cases, honestly:
Essentials. Free texting abroad but no high-speed data, so you’re buying an International Pass: $10 for 2 GB/one day, $50 for 15 GB/ten days, $75 for 30 GB/thirty days. That’s where a travel eSIM at $29.00 starts winning.
Experience More, heavy use. Maps and streaming can burn 5 GB in a week, and 256 kbps after that is enough for WhatsApp texts and not for navigation. If you’re the person with Google Maps open all day, count your gigabytes before trusting the included allowance.
